As a step towards complete consolidation, BalineMD provides a Lab Order Entry Interface for entering lab results into patient records. The system ensures a coordinated effort between providers and laboratories, providing the patient with quality service and care.

Efficient Lab Interaction
Providers can order patient tests directly from the pocket PC to the lab, for fast processing and immediate action. Test results are directly transmitted from the lab to be attached to the patient record in the EHR. This reduces the coordination time and effort between the provider and the lab.

Reduced Administrative Tasks
The provider does not need to make repeated telephone calls or have meetings with lab personnel. There is no burden of data entry into the patient's EHR as the results are automatically uploaded into the system.

Flexible Lab Results Integration
Allowing user flexibility, the results can be transmitted via fax, or scanned, for integration with the EHR. The lab results interface is compliant with leading lab systems such as Quest and Lab Corp.
